Our story
1961
Start of the activity
The Torri family began its activity in Quinzano d’Oglio with small tools for cleaning metals in a small shed.
1977-1985
Torri Fonderie is born
Torri Fonderie are founded; the first die-casting presses are installed in a production plant with a surface area of 5,000 m²
1990
First machining machinery
The company installs the first machining machines that enable it to offer customers machined die-cast parts, ready for painting and use.
1995
Expansion
Production needs increase, expansion of the location and workforce on a surface area of 15,000 m²
1999
Torri Tecnologies is born
Torri Tecnologies, a group company specialising in finishing and machining of die castings, is established.
2007
Torri Solare is born
Torri Solare, a group company specialising in the production of photovoltaic panels and in the installation of systems, is incorporated. The photovoltaic production establishment is the result of our ambition to diversify and enter new sectors, and follows a research period involving the University of Brescia
2015-2020
Industry 4.0
Implementation and interconnection of production facilities in accordance with the dictates of Industry 4.0. All systems are modernised and 2 new fans are built for the abatement of emissions. The premises are further expanded to 20,000 m²
2022
ISO 14001:2015
The company obtains the ISO14001:2015 Environmental Certification
2024
New shed
The new shed is completed; a new furnace (bringing the total to 3), a new vacuum system and an overhead crane are installed in the shed. Today, Fonderie Torri covers an area of 30,000 m².
